Study Reveals This “Healthy” Drink Increases Cancer Risk By 18% (And It’s Probably Sitting In Your Refrigerator Right Now)

Here’s a scary thought:

Is there a drink sitting in your fridge right now that could skyrocket your cancer risk?

Based on a new study published in The British Medical Journal, the answer for millions of Americans is “yes.”

Worst part is, for years, we’ve been led to believe this beverage is “healthy.”

Most folks drink it daily. Some happily pour out a glass for their kids or grandkids too — all while having NO idea how much damage it could be doing.

So, what is this toxic beverage hiding in plain sight?

None other than fruit juice.

I know, I know… it sounds crazy, right?

Fruits are supposed to be healthy! They’re loaded with key vitamins and minerals. So how on God’s green Earth could fruit juice be BAD for you?

Simple.

It’s all because of a toxic ingredient lurking inside fruit juice — even 100% fruit juices!

So, read on to discover how and why this can increase your cancer risk (and what to drink instead for optimal health, energy, and vitality.)

Did You Know 10 Grams of This Toxic Ingredient Are Hiding in Every 100 mL of Fruit Juice?

Let me ask you something:

Which do you think is healthier, fruit juice or soda?

If you’re like most people, you probably picked fruit juice. But if so, you’ll probably be shocked to discover they BOTH contain the same amount of a toxic, cancer-causing ingredient:

Sugar.

In fact, the study I mentioned earlier found that soda drinks have a total of 10.9 grams of sugar per 100 mL, while 100% fruit juices (often marketed as “healthy alternatives” to soda) have a whopping 10.3 grams of sugar per 100 mL.

And remember: these 100% fruit juices often have a “No Added Sugar” sticker on the label.

What a con job!

Anyway, the bottom line is this:

The study found that each 100 mL of daily sugary drink consumption was associated with an 18% increased risk of cancer.

Considering the fact that most sugary drinks come in a 355 mL size or bigger…

That’s a big deal.

Think about it like this: if you drink one can of fruit juice each day, your cancer risk could be going up by as much as 54% — a staggering increase!

But how exactly does sugar increase cancer risk?

Well, it’s because…

Cancer Cells Literally “Feed” on Sugar

Sugar is also known as glucose.

And the glucose circulating in our blood is precisely what fuels tumor growth. Cancer cells metabolize sugar in order to grow bigger.

So, the more sugar you have flowing through your veins… the more “food” you’re making available to potentially cancerous cells.

Plus, sugar promotes obesity.

Which, in turn, leads to dangerously high insulin levels. And since insulin is a “building” hormone, it promotes growth (which that includes cancer growth.)

Now, is there another way to get vitamins and minerals from fruit without the sugar?

You bet!

Here’s a Healthier Way to Enjoy All the Benefits of Fruit

Ever heard of powdered fruit extracts?

They’re available to purchase online, and can be found at most local health food stores.

Mixing these powdered extracts with water (or into your favorite smoothie) is a much healthier, much safer way to enjoy the health benefits of fruits.

In fact, these powders often contain little to no calories in them…

Meaning they’re approved on virtually any sound weight loss diet (including intermittent fasting.)

Plus, they usually provide a nice clean, jitter-free energy boost (unlike caffeine), and can also help curb appetite and reduce food cravings — making them a powerful ally in the Battle of the Bulge.

If you’re looking for a recommendation, I’ve personally tested just about every one on the market, and this one has 23 different fruits & veggies in it.
